Following 4 successful years, Atlantis is proud to be hosting the 5^th Dubai Chill Out Festival with a massive lineup of live acts and DJs that is sure to top the previous years, with Erykah Badu, Röyksopp, The Cinematic Orchestra and Hot Chip, to name a few.

The Chill Out Festival has been known for its diverse line-up of  artists that cater to an array of different ages, nationalities and cultures. With over 6,000 people in attendance last year alone and with the likes of the legendary Kruder and Dorfmeister, Thievery Corporation, Bugz in the Attic and more having graced the Chill Out Festival stage over the last 4 years – it was indeed a challenge to come up with a lineup that could top the rest. However we have done just that! The Chill Out Festival features the following line up:

Erykah Badu who will be making her Middle Eastern premier on our stage with the entire band (14 members strong).

Royksopp – Norwegian electronic music giants and Grammy nominee who will be making their debut in the region too.

The Cinematic Orchestra – a British jazz and electronic outfit and a part of the Ninja tune label who have done movie and tv scores for Kidulthood, Tog Gear, Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds.

MIDIval Punditz – an Indian fusion group who have toured with Anoushka Shankar and Karsh Kale will be our featured act from the Asian sub continent.

Hot Chip – the infamous English act who have headlined every major festival and are a resident of the terrace at Space, Ibiza.

Matthew Herbert – the avant grade British electronic musician who helped pioneer the microhouse genre and worked with artists like Moloko and Alter Ego.

Matthew Hawtin – Representing the minus roster Mathew is a regular fixture at a variety of international festivals including Sonar, Tribal Gathering and Timewarp.

AIM – British DJ/Producer whose eclectic selection of funky electronic music and hip hop beats has made him one of the most sought after DJs on the circuit today. All the above international acts will be supported by some of the best live artists in the region.

The 5^th annual Chill Out Festival also features the best supporting local live bands and DJs such as Kaleidoscop, The Brownies, Liminal Roots and David Craig.

Besides the lineup, we also have all the ingredients to guarantee that The Chill Out Festival is the biggest, most memorable chilled out experience – from the wonderful sandy beaches of the Palm, to the creative corners of The JamJar Art Studio, the Chill Out Spa and Massage area and a genuine feel-good vibe that screams coolness!

Atlantis The Palm was chosen as the perfect venue for the 5th Chill Out Festival as it provides the ultimate beach experience. With its view of the hotel and the Palm island, fully equipped beach set up with Cabanas and lounge chairs, and water excellent for swimming, or to relax beside and listen to the sounds of waves and live music.
