LIVE AND EXPERIENCE THE ARABIAN FAMILY NIGHT AT THE LOST CHAMBERS

The Lost Chambers, the home of over 20 marine habitats and 65,000 fish and marine life, invites guests, visitors to Dubai and residents of the Emirates to experience the Arabian Family Nights every Tuesday, from 7pm- 10pm, starting this April 19. Guests can explore and discover this unforgettable Arabic atmosphere with an extensive collection of exhibits, pools, lagoons and underwater ruins showcasing an impressive variety of marine life including sharks, eels, rays, piranhas, hundreds of exotic and tropical fish.

As guests enter The Lost Chambers, they will be greeted with refreshing rosewater and welcomed with the warm scents of Arabic Oud. Guests will be able to explore an extraordinary aquatic world through the ancient corridors of the lost city of Atlantis. Arabic coffee and dates will be served throughout the evening and a themed Lost Chambers colouring and activity book will be given to kids at the end of their journey. Navigators will be on hand to share their wealth of knowledge on the myth and animals encountered throughout the journey of The Lost Chambers.

Live the underwater wonderland experience of The Lost Chambers which includes over 20 marine habitats and 65,000 fish and marine life. Guests travel through mazes of underground tunnels and passageways bringing them into close contact with the advanced inventions of the ancient Atlanteans. Touch tanks filled with starfish and pencil urchins, both found in local Arabian waters, and horse shoe crabs, the spiders of the sea, allow guests to touch, feel and interact with sea life.  Special exhibits are dedicated to different sea creatures, such as the delicate Moon Jellyfish, busy lobster and glittery anchovies – each fascinating to watch and with a story to tell.

At 7.30pm and 9.30pm guests get the opportunity to discover the legendary Guided Back of House Tour and experience it through the eyes of an Aquarist. Guests will experience some of the elements involved in caring for the marine life as well an explanation of life support systems nestled in the underground tunnels and passageways of The Lost Chambers.

 

At 8.00pm and 9.00pm guests can also enjoy the interactive educational and entertaining show, Aquatheatre, at the Seven Sages room in The Lost Chambers. Led by a Navigator, guests are given a better understanding of the amazing 11 million litre Ambassador Lagoon, as well as having the opportunity to interact with divers who are in the depths of the lagoon, enjoying and exploring the ancient ruins and species of the Arabian Gulf.

Resort guests have unlimited complimentary access to The Lost Chambers and day visitors to Atlantis, The Palm can also enjoy the magical wonders at The Lost Chambers for AED100 per adult and AED70 for children between the ages of 3-11 years, with complimentary access for children younger than 3 years.
