We are very excited that our Italian restaurant, Ronda Locatelli has been awarded the most authentic Italian restaurant in the Middle East by Restaurant Magazine and Birra Moretti.
The award is testament to the hard work of Chef de Cuisine Alessandro Bottazzi and his team, who take the utmost pride in bringing authentic flavours from Italy, seamlessly blending them with new flavours using the freshest of ingredients. All pasta at Ronda Locatelli is handmade daily by the team, while the pizza selection is made to order, served hot from a brick-oven.
We recently dropped in on a master class held by Chef Alessandro – it was a fascinating to see how he was using the traditional pasta press, and the standards maintained by the team every day in Ronda Locatelli. Apart from highlighting such traditional techniques, Chef Alessandro took us through the process to pick the finest of produce. We were particularly fascinated at the intricacies surrounding truffle picking and buying – it certainly makes the white truffle pizza at Ronda Locatelli all the more cherished.
