Food photography workshop puts Nasimi Beach in focus

Guests and residents would agree that Nasimi Beach is one of the most photogenic venues in Dubai. It’s no wonder, then, that international food stylist and blogger Meeta K Wolff chose the venue to host her first food styling and photography workshop in the Middle East.

Sally Prosser, named as one of the UAE’s top food bloggers by The National for her My Custard Pie blog, worked with Meeta to bring together a group of bloggers and food journalists from Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait and the UAE. “Nasimi Beach was the perfect location for this workshop. We experienced some amazing dishes, not only delicious to taste but perfectly presented for us to style and photograph.  We were also inspired by some colourful cocktails and mocktails and a superb outdoor cooking demonstration, The participants all learned a lot from styling these dishes and creatively photographing enjoying their time at this amazing location.”

Talented photographers and bloggers jumped at the opportunity to participate, and as the images below show, the results were spectacular. The group have created a Pinterest board of photography from the workshop which enthusiasts can follow.
