Atlantis, The Palm is ecstatic to announce that we are the very proud winners of “Best Festival” at the Time Out Dubai 2013 Nightlife Awards which took place last night.
Dubai’s glitterati, from the city’s nightlife scene, descended upon one of the most highly anticipated award shows of the year – the Time Out Dubai Nightlife Awards 2013. With 20 different categories to award, highlighting the kings and queens of the city’s hottest night spots, the atmosphere was on fire in the room as each nominee was announced by local celebrity host Kris Fade.
The Atlantis team was on the edge of their seats when finally the time came to announce “Best Festival” – an award which recognizes the best music festival in the last year. Kris Fade then gave it away all too well by referencing the loss of a flip flop at this particular event. The table looked around at one another and in an instant stood cheering in celebration as Sandance with The Fray, Dizzee Rascal, and DJ Fresh was revealed as “Best Festival”.

Sandance is Dubai’s five star music festival, held on the beach at Atlantis, The Palm. A now multi award-winning day and night music festival internationally acclaimed DJs and artists such as Snow Patrol, The Script, Chicane, The Fray, Armand van Helden, Calvin Harris and Erick Morillo, have graced the stage to some of the biggest crowds in Dubai.
The presence of A-List music performers will continue into the year with Florence and the Machine announced as the first headliner at the forthcoming festival on Friday, 10 May 2013. Predicted to be a sell-out event, Florence fans are advised to buy their tickets as soon as possible to attend the What’s On 2012/2013 & Time out 2013 award-winning “Best Festival” in Dubai.
