PADI Open Water Course

A PADI Open Water Diver course will give you the opportunity to dive in open water spaces anywhere in the world. The course is based on knowledge development which looks at the basic principles of scuba diving, learning practical skills in the water and then a few sessions of exciting exploration! Conducted over four days, this course consists of presentations filled with theoretical training, five sessions under water in a more confined space, two dives in our famous Ambassador Lagoon and then two shore dives on our beautiful Aquaventure beach. As an Open Water Scuba diver, you can dive up to 18 meters and participate in various dive activities.

Shark Night Dive

Once you are PADI certified, you can now partake in some of our extremely thrilling dive activities, one of which is the shark night dive! This dive takes you to the very depths of our Aquaventure Shark Lagoon, where in complete darkness, you can discover these predators in their most comfortable habitat. Sharks are at their most active during this time, which makes this dive one of the most exhilarating experiences at Atlantis. You are given a torch and a glow stick in order to navigate your way around the lagoon and you will have the opportunity to see various sharks and rays during this invigorating experience!
