The entries in our Asateer Iftari Recipe competition continue to impress. This week’s winner Naina Shakeb pictured, showing her winning Mango Panacotta to Oriental Head Chef of Levantine and Asateer, Chef Ali Elbourji. Naina’s recipe (below) is light and refreshing.

The Fish Husbandry Team at Atlantis has some exciting news to share. In the past month, Atlantis has welcomed new additions to our marine family in The Ambassador Lagoon, with the births of 4 sting ray pups, and the tiniest treasure of all – baby sea horses!

Asateer, our spectacular beach-side Ramadan Tent, hosted some of Dubai’s most colourful and creative celebrities for the 2011 launch on Thursday night. Wowing the attendees was Emirati singer Abdullah Abu Al Khair arriving in a Michael Jackson inspired outfit. Also adding some glamour to the event were singers Nourhanne and Lona Al Fares, jewellery designer Kholoud Kurdi, as well as presenters Ameera Al Fadel, Lujain Omran and Rahaf Al Taweel. Asateer also welcomed the highly esteemed Dr. Manahel Thabet, poet Wassim Shayyah, and crowd favourite Chef Osama El-Sayed, as well as players and management of the Al Wasl football team. Read More
