As we approach Eid, the Holy Month comes to an end and so does Asateer, the Ramadan tent at Atlantis.
One of our honoured guests this week was our final recipe competition winner Kiran Kathpal (pictured). Kiran met with Oriental Head Chef of Levantine and Asateer, Chef Ali Elbourji to make her winning dish. The scrumptious Chicken Charmoula recipe is found below for all to share.
It’s been a wonderful month of delightful dishes shared with family and friends. For many international guests, it was an amazing first-time experience of authentic Arabic Iftar. If you enjoyed this, Eid celebrations are also worth experiencing – our previous post on Eid deals covers some of the highlights here at Atlantis, The Palm, including great deals for long lunches at Levantine and Kaleidoscope.
We recently had the pleasure of hosting Lily Allen (now Lily Cooper!), the amazing UK singer songwriter, while she was in Dubai to launch her ‘Lucy In Disguise’ fashion label.
Lily also created a video for our Spotted in Atlantiswww.spottedinatlantis.com competition. Lily simply uploaded her photo along with three of her friends’ photos into our lighthearted video set around her stay in Atlantis.
The entries in our Asateer Iftari Recipe competition continue to impress. This week’s winner Naina Shakeb pictured, showing her winning Mango Panacotta to Oriental Head Chef of Levantine and Asateer, Chef Ali Elbourji. Naina’s recipe (below) is light and refreshing.
Keep the entries coming in – send your recipes with a picture to Iftari@atlantisthepalm.com and we will announce the winners on our Facebook, Twitter and upload the recipe to our blog.
The Fish Husbandry Team at Atlantis has some exciting news to share. In the past month, Atlantis has welcomed new additions to our marine family in The Ambassador Lagoon, with the births of 4 sting ray pups, and the tiniest treasure of all – baby sea horses!
