Congratulations to Dounia Taha, our Week 1 winner of Asateer’s Iftari recipe competition. Dounia submitted the famous Moroccan Harira Soup as her entry, which was chosen by our master chefs here at Atlantis as the dish of the week. The recipe provided by Dounia is as follows:
Asateer, our spectacular beach-side Ramadan Tent, hosted some of Dubai’s most colourful and creative celebrities for the 2011 launch on Thursday night. Wowing the attendees was Emirati singer Abdullah Abu Al Khair arriving in a Michael Jackson inspired outfit. Also adding some glamour to the event were singers Nourhanne and Lona Al Fares, jewellery designer Kholoud Kurdi, as well as presenters Ameera Al Fadel, Lujain Omran and Rahaf Al Taweel. Asateer also welcomed the highly esteemed Dr. Manahel Thabet, poet Wassim Shayyah, and crowd favourite Chef Osama El-Sayed, as well as players and management of the Al Wasl football team. Read More

We would like to invite you all to celebrate World Oceans Day at Atlantis on 11 June to contribute to the conservation of the ocean. You will be able to take the opportunity to help protect the oceans for the future by bringing any recyclable plastics from your home to the Dolphin Bay car park at Atlantis from 8am to 9pm (Event details can be found here on Facebook). All collected plastics will be transformed into artificial reefs that will be lowered into the sea to provide shelter and protection for the local marine life and over time establish habitats for corals and reef eco-systems.
