Great family day with Atlantis Kids Club and TimeOut Kids

Families and children were recently treated to a fun and exciting day out with the Atlantis Kids Club, as a result of a competition run by Time Out Kids offering 10 lucky families to experience some of the amazing “edutainment” activities offered by the Atlantis Kids Club.

Kids from age 3 to 12 years, together with their parents came to Atlantis for an opportunity to make, bake and eat their very own pizza with Chef de Cuisine Alessandro Bottazzi of Ronda Locatelli! Elliott, the bear from Time Out Kids managed to drop by for lunch as well!

Soon after lunch, everyone went on  for a hunt in The Lost Chambers to discover the mythical Lost City of Atlantis and learning about the various species of fish and marine creatures. Then it was time for the kids to cool down among the slides and drenching buckets at Splashers in Aquaventure and feeding the friendly rays at the Ziggurat before a tag game of  ‘Sharks and Minnows’ at the Activity Pool.

The Atlantis Dive Centre came to give the kids a taste of scuba diving and experiencing the ‘Bubble Maker’ programme at the Dive Centre, finishing the day with an 80 minutes boat cruise ride!

“The boys had such a great time, and neither has stopped talking about it since” said Clare Lawrence, mother of 2 kids that took part that day “Not only was it an action-packed fun day, but everything was so superbly organised. We were very impressed with the kind, patient and enthusiastic staff at the Atlantis Kids Club – they really had thought of everything and made all the families feel very welcome, and the kids adored them all (and Elliot the bear from Time Out Kids). Atlantis is quite simply breathtaking in its enormity and the range of activities was so immense we may have to return for longer next time!”

Another guest, Zamzam Jehanzeb, added “Thanks so much for giving us the chance to win and spend a splendid day at Atlantis! The kids started with cooking their own pizzas for the first time in their lives and of course eating them too. Next, the discovery of the Lost Chambers was very informative and enjoyable, even for me! Last of all,the boat ride was a great experience.”
