Discover the world of Guest Activities and all the adventures we have in store for our younger guests.

Long hot summer days are here again, and Dubai will never be short of fun summer activities for our younger guests to enjoy. At Atlantis Kids Club, we encourage your children to be creative, imaginative and most importantly to have fun and make friends. Manager Lyudmila Kim and her Guest Activities team are sure to keep you and your children smiling all summer long.

Can you share some fun facts about the Guest Activities team? We have a highly versatile team of 33 individuals that are active, creative, dynamic, and full of fun! Each member of the Guest Activities team is fully trained in Paediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers to ensure a safe, yet enjoyable experience for all children.

With the summer officially here, Atlantis kids hosts its yearly Summer Camps. Could you explain to the readers what makes our Summer Camps special? There are many fun features that make the Atlantis Summer Camps stand out as a must-do for children and teens. For starters, there are five different programmes that will be offered from 1 July until 30 August, making sure there is always something for everyone. Some of these programmes include fascinating dolphin experiences, going on a Shark Safari, cooking in our world-renowned restaurants and getting officially certified with the PADI Seal Team programme. A range of programmes are offered for different age groups between 3 and 15 years old, giving children the chance to make friends from around the world and hang out with the coolest crew in town!

Who would you recommend to join our Summer Camps? Our summer camps are set up primarily with campers aged 3-15 in mind. Our team is always able to help make recommendations for the perfect programme based on your child’s interests. Allow me to break it down a little further:

Summer Adventurers This is one of our new programmes and is open for adventure seekers aged 3-7. There will be a different adventure each day, including treasure hunts, obstacle courses, arts & crafts and even transforming into a superhero or mad scientist.

Young Athletes This is the perfect summer camp for little athletes that enjoy sports. Divided into two age groups: 3-7 years old and 8-12 years old, campers will enjoy a variety of sport activities, explore the thrills of Aquaventure Waterpark and discover the Myth of Atlantis.

Teen Xtreme An awesome summer programme for teens only! They will participate in extreme fitness challenges and build up the courage to take on Poseidon’s Revenge. Open for teens aged 13-15.

Junior MasterChef For the food lovers, this is a delicious journey through the culinary world of Atlantis. Chidren aged 8-12 will be guided by some of our very own chefs to learn all about sushi making, cupcake decoration, creating mouth-watering pizzas and much more.

Aquamania This camp takes children aged 8-15 behind the scenes and into an amazing world of water! They will learn to scuba dive with the PADI Seal Team, snorkel in the Ambassador Lagoon and get to meet and play with our dolphins.

What’s new for children to look forward to during this year’s Summer Camps? I am really excited to have launched two new camps: the Summer Adventurers and Young Athletes. This year focuses on Wellness, so we have included a lot of activities and sports such as taekwondo, fitness circuits at the Shuiqi Fitness Centre, yoga, basketball, volleyball, badminton, mindfulness, nature walks, recycling projects, nature arts & crafts and more. Focusing on Wellness has also inspired a new food menu, which includes healthier options to make sure our campers stay in shape and get the nutrition they need to keep up with their active summer programmes.

Can you tell the readers a little bit more about what the team does to keep up with all the high-energy activities that you will be offering this summer? The number one tip is to stay hydrated and eat healthy. With so many activities taking place, our team also needs to make sure they consume the right foods, high in nutrients, so they can keep up with our campers and ensure lots of energy-filled fun. Additionally, we carefully plan the structure of our programmes so each team member has a perfect balance between indoor and outdoor activities.
