There are few things in life more satisfying than spending a night at one of the top luxury hotels in the world, enjoying the best Dubai water park activities and seaside adventures might also be up there on the list. Oh, and connecting with the whole online world while doing so.

As part of their initiative to give back to their fans, Atlantis The Palm recently unveiled The Atlantis Fan Suite, a digitalized interactive suite available exclusively for their Facebook fans and online followers.

Conceptualized as a fun and cool way to celebrate their 1-million Facebook followers milestone and give something back to their long-time members, the suite was carefully designed to provide guests with the chance to enjoy a digital mini-vacation of epic proportions at one of the world’s most popular luxury hotels. Exhilarating, comfortable and entirely connected, the suite is a one-of-a-kind digital haven, made exclusively available to the hotel’s Facebook fans.

Following the launch of the Fan Suite, Atlantis opened a submission window during the month of March. Upon filling out the required form, Facebook followers were then able to select 3 preferred dates for a chance to win a free one-night stay at the unique suite, complete with exclusive access to some of the hotel’s most popular facilities.

Atlantis picked one lucky winner every day, with the first batch of selected candidates were finally welcomed to be part of the first phase of the Fan Suite between March 18 and April 30.

Their first task was to unlock access to the fan suite. Giving a whole new meaning to staying connected, Atlantis The Palm programmed the suites to only be accessible using the guests’ Facebook credentials. Once successfully logged in, the winners were granted access to the room and the slew of digital perks that came with it.

Upon entering, they were welcomed with real-life comments decorating the walls, entirely gathered from the hotel’s Facebook page, as well as an oversized “Poke” button that served as a fun tool to order room service. Because really, who wouldn’t want to poke their way to a delicious meal and some hearty drinks?

One of the more exciting perks the winners got to enjoy was the “Status Update Range” of toiletries, and we certainly can’t blame them. Snagging hotel toiletries is already a big temptation to nearly everyone on the face of the earth, but that urge only grew tenfold as soon as the fans laid eyes on the suite’s collection. They couldn’t help but delight in the custom-made selection of soaps, gels and sanitary products that brought social media straight to their bathrooms.

The winners were then able to discover the 21st century’s equivalent of Snow White’s famed magic mirror. While it didn’t answer to “mirror mirror on the wall”, The Atlantis Fan Suite’s mirror did double as a digital screen, allowing guests to check their online feeds, go through real-time news, access an online currency converter or even play a number of popular games online, among other perks.

Features such as a personal butler, a “live chair” that connected the winners to their friends and followers in real time, or even specialized beach bundles for their on-site adventures added to the excitement and provided guests with an even more comfortable and unusual stay.

While the temptation to camp inside the swanky suite during their entire visit might’ve been expectedly high, the fans still ventured outside to enjoy some of Atlantis’s most exciting destinations, such as Aquaventure Waterpark, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, or even the hotel’s large selection of restaurants, making sure to document their journeys on their social media channels.
